The creation of sustainable long-term value from the restart of closed mine sites is dependent upon building strong partnerships with agencies, companies and groups who are equally committed to the safe and sustainable commercial regeneration of such sites.
These partnerships not only help to improve the sustainability and efficiency of the operating mines, but also establish non-mining businesses that generate commercial returns and positive social and environmental impacts beyond the end of a mine’s life.
Concurrent with optimising our mining restart plans, we are working now with these key partners to scope Clean Water, Green Power, Real Estate and Leisure business opportunities within the Kellogg and Wardner area
